Kazuki Takamatsu was born in Sendai, Miyagi, in 1978. On Saturday, April 13, 2013, Corey Helford Gallery presents his solo show Japanese Ideology of Puberty, twelve brand new paintings about the light and the shadows of adolescents and growing up. I had the pleasure to involve him in the Keep a Breast Foundation’s Tokyo Love show last year and his technique is still amazing: computer generated multiple layers that gives a 3D effect then hand painted with acrylic black and white paints and gouaches. Don’t miss this unique show.
