Quiet Ensamble was born in 2009 and is based in Rome, Italy, and it deals with video, sound, light and nature. The guys behind this project have an algid and scientific aesthetic and play interactive instruments, often alive and sometimes that creeps (birds in cages, fishes in tanks, snails, insects, fruits…). It seems they say there is a whole world alive around use, we just have to look sharper to find it and that technology can help us in this. And that Nature and High Tech can get along in harmony.
Il Quiet Ensamble è nato nel 2009 e ha come base Roma. Utilizza video, suono, luce e natura. I suoi membri hanno un’estetica algida e scientifica e suonano strumenti interattivi, spesso vivi e a volte striscianti (uccelli in gabbia, pesci in vasche, lumache, insetti, frutti..). Sembrano comunicarci che c’è un mondo intero e vivo intorno a noi, dobbiamo solo avere uno sguardo più accurato per trovaro e che la tecnologia può aiutarci a farlo. E poi che la Natura e il mondo High Tech possono convivere in armonia.
