Sha Sha Higby was born in 1952 in Detroit (Usa). Her art is a mix of dance and sculpture, she takes inspiration from south east asian culture, shamanism and nature. She makes every costume with wood, paper, silk, ceramic, gold leaves and a labyrinth of delicate props. The idea behind is to find the edge of movement and stillness.
