Risultati record per la Biennale: grazie all’andamento positivo del numero di visitatori alla Biennale Arte, ai positivi risultati ottenuti in tutti i settori artistici (Cinema, Danza, Musica e Teatro) e all’aumento delle sponsorships, le entrate proprie (biglietteria, sponsorizzazioni, merchandising, ecc.) registrate a oggi (16,6 milioni di euro) hanno raggiunto il livello dei contributi pubblici attesi per l’intero esercizio 2011.
È la prima volta che ciò si verifica nella storia della Biennale.
Nel frattempo continua il successo di pubblico: a domenica 6 novembre, sono 384.446 i visitatori complessivi della Biennale Arte, la mostra più visitata in Italia (aperta fino a domenica 27 novembre).

Record numbers for the Venice Biennale: due to the increasing number of visitors at the Art Exhibition, to the positive results obtained in all artistic sections (Cinema, Dance, Music and Theatre) and to the increase of sponsorships, the revenue made by tickets sold, sponsorhip, merchandising, etc. now amounts to € 16,6 million, equalling the public funding expected for the entire 2011 financial year.
It is the first time this happens in the history of the Biennale. As regards the Art Biennale (currently Italy's most visited art show), 384,446 persons have visited the exhibition as of Sunday 6th November.
