Rodolphe Bessey was born in Lyon (France) in 1977 in a contemporary body with a 18th century soul. He is an alchemist, struggling to give new shapes to the words “memory” and “oblivion”. His mix of old and new techniques and technologies is unique and his research starts from the depths of mankind’s collective memory (cave paintings, shamanism, Butoh…).
Rodolphe Bessey è nato a Lione nel 1977 in un corpo umano con un’anima del diciottesimo secolo. Lui è un alchimista, in lotta per daare nuove forme alle parole “memoria” e “oblio”. Il suo unire vecchie e nuove tecniche e tecnologie è unico e la sua ricerca nasce nel profondo della memoria collettiva umana (pitture rupestri, sciamanesimo, Butoh…).
