After showing his work at Stroke Urban Fair (Munich), with Milan's Studio D'Ars gallery, Opiemme will be doing a solo exhibition in Bologna (IT) from 7th to 28th June at Elastico Studio (Via Porta Nova 12).
Three of the walls (7x5x4 metres) in the main room at Elastico Studio have been dedicated to a site specific intervention, to which the exhibition owes its name: "Parole di Carta" (Paper Words).
An installation made of newspapers, tape, paper and cut-out words which spreads out on the walls in a collage of Italian national news headlines of the last month and quotes some of the themes previously expressed by the author in solo show "No Flags", reflections on the absence of valuesin the 'Bel Paese' Italy.
Opiemme composes a site specific with stencils of works created from 2010 on, in a dialogue with his own poetry,
of which parts, side by side, integrate with each other and enrich with meaning.
